A New Season of Growth

If you’ve been following this space for some time, you may have noticed it’s been a little while since my last post here on Words that Inspire: Podcast Turned Blog. While the pause was intentional, I felt it was time to return—to put pen to paper and share what’s been unfolding behind the scenes.

Just as the seasons change, so does life. And sometimes, we are called to step back—not because we’ve lost our purpose, but because we need to allow ourselves the space to grow, reflect, and build in ways that aren’t always visible to the naked eye.

Much like the shift from one season to the next, there are moments when something within us begins to change. We may not fully see it yet, but we can feel it—an internal shift, a quiet knowing that something new is on the horizon. And in those moments, we’re often being guided to slow down… to honor the transition… and to trust the process of becoming.

Over the past several months, I’ve been in one of those seasons—one that’s been hard to fully name. The direction of the wind has shifted, and I’m learning how to move with it rather than against it or trying to control where it leads.

Although I haven’t been posting regularly, this time has been far from inactive. In many ways, it has been a season of reflection, planning, and creating behind the scenes—not only for Words that Inspire, but within my own life as well. The ideas that began through this blog—conversations about growth, relationships, healing, and purpose—have continued to evolve. And as they evolve, so does the direction of this space, along with the path of my career, my relationships, and my personal growth.

Sometimes, stepping back allows us to see more clearly where we are going—and to recognize just how far we’ve already come.

Building Something New

Last year, I took the first step in creating this blog, and looking back, I can see just how much growth happened within me during that time. My hope is that this space also created room for my readers to find what they needed, and allowed them the opportunity to reflect on the changes they’ve experienced over the past year as well.

As I’ve been moving through this season of reflection, I’m noticing that this season feels different. It’s not just about growth anymore—it feels like a season of movement. A season of stepping forward, expanding, and allowing myself to move into what’s next.

The truth is, I’m not just building something external—there’s also something unfolding within me, and I’m excited to see what this year will bring.

But before we move forward, I’m sure you’re wondering what’s been going on.

On a personal level, I’m still single—but I’ve come to a place of openness. While I’m not approaching relationships from a place of searching, I am in a space of allowing. Which simply means that if the right connection comes along, I’m open to it growing naturally and discovering where it may lead. My heart is open to the idea of love and connection, without forcing the process.

Professionally, this has also been a season of stepping forward. In a previous post, I talked about the fear of change and how easy it is to become comfortable in spaces we’ve outgrown. And while I am still in my current role, I’ve taken a major step—I sat for my state exam in November and passed on my first attempt.

That moment meant more than just passing a test. It was a reminder that I am capable of moving forward, even when it feels uncomfortable. It also reminded me that my journey is just beginning.

While I have not fully transitioned from my current role, I am beginning to step more fully into my work in counseling. It’s a gradual process, but it’s one I’m ready for—and genuinely looking forward to.

And in many ways, this blog has been a part of that journey. It gave me a space to process my own experiences during a time when my world felt off balance. It helped me slow down, reflect, and find my voice—not only as a future therapist, but as someone who needed to pause and breathe.

In its own way, it reassured me that I am stepping into the work I’ve always felt called to do—the kind of work that not only supports my growth, but also encourages others to find their own.

And as this blog has continued to grow, so has the vision behind it.

From the beginning, this has been more than just a blog—it has been a work in progress, evolving over time. And now, I feel ready to share what I’ve been pouring my time and energy into.

One of the projects I’ve been dedicating time and energy to is the development of my upcoming store, Chase Purpose Inspires.

This space will bring together many of the tools I’ve been creating to support personal growth and reflection. My goal is to provide resources that help people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and take intentional steps toward the life they want to build.

Some of the resources I’ve been developing include reflection journals, affirmation tools, and guided workbooks designed to encourage self-awareness and emotional growth.

Creating these resources has been both exciting and meaningful because they extend the heart of what this blog has always been about—encouraging people to reflect, grow, and move forward with intention.

Growth Often Happens in Quiet Seasons

One thing I’ve learned is that growth doesn’t always happen in the spotlight.

Sometimes the most important growth happens during the quiet seasons—the times when we are processing experiences, rethinking our direction, and slowly shaping the next chapter of our lives.

It may not always look like progress from the outside, but internally, those moments can be some of the most transformative.

The start of a new year often brings reflection, and for me, this season has been about reconnecting with purpose and continuing to build things that align with the message I’ve always tried to share here: growth, awareness, and intentional living.

What’s Next for Words that Inspire: Podcast Turned Blog.

As we move further into this year, I’m excited to return to sharing more reflections and conversations through the blog.

You can expect future posts to continue exploring themes such as personal growth, relationships, emotional awareness, family dynamics, and the ongoing journey of discovering purpose in everyday life.

I’ll also be sharing updates as Chase Purpose Inspires continues to take shape.

Thank You for Being Here

If you’ve been following this blog for a while, thank you for continuing to be part of this journey. Your support, reflections, and engagement mean more than you may realize.

And if you’re new here, welcome.

My hope is that something you read here encourages you to pause, reflect, and keep moving forward in your own journey—one step at a time.

Because growth doesn’t always happen all at once. Sometimes it happens quietly, slowly, and behind the scenes.

But every step still matters.

Always stay inspired and continue to chase purpose.

Before you go, I wanted to share something a little different— a spoken reflection created as a companion to this post. I hope both this message and the reflection resonate with you as we continue moving through our own seasons of growth.
