The Pillars of Strength

Women That Inspire

There are two days left in March, which means that  Women's History Month is coming to a close. It feels only fitting to take a moment to reflect on the profound impact women have made—not only in my own life but throughout our communities, our country, and across generations.

Women are mentors, educators, leaders, friends, and trailblazers; they have shaped who we are through their strength, resilience, compassion, and courage. Some have changed history on a national stage, while others have quietly transformed lives through everyday acts of love, guidance, and sacrifice.

I invite you to join me in honoring the women who have inspired you. Reflect on their moments of encouragement, the times they challenged you, supported you, and how their presence shaped the person you are today. Their influence deserves to be recognized and celebrated—not just during Women's History Month, but every day.

So I ask you…Who are the women that inspire you, and how have they impacted your life?

What does it mean to be a woman?

Being a woman is more than a word—it is a legacy. It is resilience wrapped in grace, strength disguised as softness, and wisdom woven through generations. A woman is the quiet force that nurtures, the bold voice that leads, and the unwavering spirit that rises—time and time again.

Women have shaped history, challenged limits, and redefined possibilities. They led movements, raised nations, and stood at the crossroads of change, carrying the weight of the world with unwavering determination. Yet, their influence extends beyond the pages of history books. Women make an impact every single day—the mothers who sacrifice, the mentors who guide, the dreamers who dare, and the warriors who fight for a better tomorrow.

This is a tribute to them—to the women who inspire, who build, who endure. To the pillars of strength who have left their mark on our lives, shaping who we are and who we aspire to be.

A Legacy of Strength: The Journey of Women Through History

We’ve all heard the saying, "Behind every man, there is a strong woman." But if you ask me, women have never been behind—they’ve stood beside and, more often than not, led from the front. Maybe I’m a little biased, but the truth remains: throughout history, women have risen—challenging norms, shattering barriers, and demanding change.

Their strength has never been defined by recognition but by action, courage, and resilience. They have shaped societies, built movements, and redefined what is possible. While their contributions are often overlooked, their impact is undeniable.

The Impact of Women Through History

  • The Fight for Suffrage – Women fought tirelessly for the right to vote, proving that their voices mattered in shaping the world.

  • Breaking Barriers in Leadership – From politics to business and activism, women have redefined what leadership looks like.

  • Redefining the Workforce – From wartime factory workers to today’s CEOs and entrepreneurs, women have paved the way for workplace equality.

  • Driving Social Change – Women have led movements for civil rights, feminism, and humanitarian efforts, challenging injustice on a global scale.

These and countless other moments have paved the way. Women’s contributions are woven into the fabric of history—not as footnotes, but as defining chapters. Every step forward has been built on the shoulders of those who refused to be overlooked.

Their sacrifices and victories live on in the women who continue to lead, inspire, and transform the world—both in grand movements and in everyday acts of courage and change.

A Tribute to Her: The Women Who Shaped My Life

My life was shaped by strong women—women who instilled in me the belief that my voice matters, that being a woman does not make me less than, but equal. They have shown me, through their own lives, that strength is not just in the battles fought but in the love given, the faith held, and the courage to keep going.

My Grandmother: A Woman of Unwavering Faith

My grandmother, a woman of unshakable faith, raised seven children with a resilience that inspires me every day. Despite all she has endured, she remains steadfast—a pillar of wisdom, love, and devotion. Through her, I have learned the value of family, the power of faith, and the importance of standing strong no matter the storm.

My Mother: The Embodiment of Strength and Sacrifice

My mother, who single-handedly raised me, is the definition of courage. I am in awe of her faith and the way she never wavered, even when the weight of the world was on her shoulders. Because she gave me the wings to fly, I am who I am today. Her love, her lessons, and her unwavering belief in me have shaped my path in ways words cannot fully express.

The Women Who Lifted Me Up

Thank you to the women who have come into my life when I needed them most—the friends who offered words of encouragement, the mentors who guided me, and the sisters in spirit who pushed me forward when I wanted to give up—I am forever grateful.

This is my deepest appreciation and gratitude for all you have done and continue to do. Your strength has lifted me, your love has carried me, and your presence in my life has been a gift beyond measure. Thank you—for everything.

A Heartfelt Tribute: Celebrating All Women

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, Let’s carry it forward by honoring the women who have shaped us—not just in history books, but in our everyday lives.

To the women who nurture, the mentors who guide, the friends who uplift, and the warriors who stand strong in the face of adversity—take a moment to celebrate them. Say thank you. Share their stories. Let their impact be known.

If you are a woman, never underestimate the power of your presence. You may not always see the lives you’ve touched, the hearts you’ve strengthened, or the paths you’ve cleared—but trust that they exist.

Your strength is not just in what you do, but in who you are. The way you love, the way you lead, the way you rise after every fall—it matters. You are a part of this legacy of resilience, courage, and change.

May we continue to uplift one another, recognize the power we hold, walk boldly in the footsteps of those who came before us—while paving the way for those who will follow.

Because the story of women is far from finished, it is still being written in every act of kindness, every dream pursued, and every barrier broken.

Let us remember today and every day: the impact of a woman is not measured by the world’s recognition, but by the lives she’s touched.

May we honor them.

May we become them.

And may we inspire the next generation to do the same.

As always… stay inspired and continue to chase purpose.
